Vitamuffins taste good, but not any better than stuff I (or you) bake ourselves. If you're not a baker but want a portion-controlled treat, they are a good product, but I don't buy them due to price. If I want a 100 calorie brownie or muffin, I'll bake 100 calorie brownies or muffins for 1/10th the cost. :)

So Vita Muffins are worth it? i have seen the ads but never tried them. I can't believe our local grocery stocks these tortillas (SHOCK!) and I order so much stuff over the internet Amazon.com should be sending me Christmas presents!

I'll admit, I like sweetened diet teas more than the unsweetened variety! But I'm trying to break myself of the everything-I-drink-must-be-sweet habit, so I'm working on expanding my tastes. My coffee however, I'm not going to budge on. ;)

I drank diet sodas (never more than 2 a day) throughout my pregnancy because I was exhausted a lot of the time. I'm don't like coffee, so I didn't really have any other options to get me through the day. My baby was born 3 days after his estimated due date.

I have stopped drinking diet sodas in the past but I am currently drinking them again. I usually have one diet soda a day. The cold turkey method worked for me. I've also had success in the past with going from 2 sodas to 1 soda, then to 1 every other day...to no soda at all.

I simply enjoy the taste of soda every now and then and I need the caffeine boost sometimes. I drink plenty of water but that gets boring. I'm not a big fan of green tea unless it is the Diet Lipton stuff and I'm not sure that counts. :)

Thanks so much for you answer and I love the picture!

I think I will stick to what worked in the past and focus on making better nutrition choices before and after my run. I really worry about stomach upset and I know protein drinks don't sit too well with me even when I'm NOT running. I was fine in past half-marathons with a package of Sports Beans and plain old water to make it through.

Absolutely great. Used unsweetened almond breeze instead of soy milk. Used trueprotein cold filtered whey (chocolate banana flavor). Next time will try coconut milk and also try almond butter.
Monica- true protein makes a PB&J flavor. Use that and some peanut flour or PB2 instead of cocoa powder and swirl in a low sugar preserve and you may be close.
For Lisa - weigh the oatmeal/soy milk concocotion from the recipe and use that weight for amount of pumpkin. Vanillla protein or other non chocolate flavor, pumpkin, and the rest of the ingredients without the cocoa powder and you may be close. You could also use chocolate protein powder and cocoa powder to try to come close. May be more moist than original because the pumpkin would not try out like the oatmeal.
