Spicy Sausage Wrap

I love mini-meals. Eating small portions throughout the day helps keep my hunger in check, blood sugar even and evergy levels high – all necessities for staying lean!

Often I grab a Greek Yogurt and fruit or a protein bar when I don’t want a full meal, but sometimes you just don’t want sweet. Today the spicy craving hit me, and I hit it back with this. Perfecto.

2 ounces LightLife GimmeLean sausage (1/7th package)
1 La Tortilla Factory Smart & Delicious low carb tortilla
1 ounce Cabot 75% reduced fat cheddar cheese, sliced
Hot pepper flakes

1. Place tortilla in a pan. Spread sausage over half the tortilla, and top with chopped cheese.  Sprinkle liberally with hot pepper flakes. Fold the tortilla in half to enclose filling and heat over medium for 3-4 minutes, or until underside is golden brown.

2. Flip and cook other side until brown.

3. Cut in half (optional) and enjoy a spicy, high protein, high fiber, snack! I had mine with half a red pepper cut into strips.

Nutrition Facts: 170 calories, 5 g fat, 1 g saturated fat, 18 g total carbohydrate, 10 g fiber, 21 g protein
