My Valentine

I try to keep the blog on-topic, but today I’ll let one slide.

My valentine will always be… my amazing husband Valentin. No one in the world makes me as happy, and I’m so glad to share all our days together. All the readers should appreciate Val as the original recipe guinea pig. Thank him that the cookbook recipes taste so good! This handsome guy has eaten more vegetables, more ways, than most men would dare, tried countless “mystery” dishes, and tolerated the borderline-ridiculous amount of time I spend shopping for, reading about, studying, and procuring food.
He’s making me dinner tonight (woohoo!) which I know involves scallops, limes, garlic, and rice pilaf, only because we went shopping together. Can’t wait!
And February 14th wouldn’t be the same without some chocolate involved, so I’ll do my part by creating some indulgent chocolate dessert.
Wishing happiness, romance, and chocolate to all! Val, however, is all mine!

Wow, Georgie, you’re married! Congrats, girlie. I miss you!! I think of you and our beloved Agnes (miss her angel face in Heaven, too) every time I use your fishy dishes. Hope all is well. Email me: sarruski@gmail.com
