Felix asked:
Actually, where DO you find chickpea and peanut flour?? I may need to expand my horizon beyond the Sunflower Market.
I have been purchasing ingredients from NutsOnline.com, a company I adore and recommend highly! In addition to every kind of flour under the sun (almond flour, coconut flour, chia flour, black bean flour, hazelnut flour…the imagination runs wild) they have an immense selection of dried fruits, nuts, bulk grains, sweeteners, gluten-free items, and some less-nutritious but darned tempting candy and chocolate.
Some of the items in my last order: crunchy roasted fava beans, habanero pistachios, hazelnuts, wasabi-soy flavored almonds, and dried sour cherries. Now we are well-stocked with healthy snacks and everyone of them id delicious! I’ve been making a mix from 1/2 ounce each of the almonds and roasted fava beans to snack on during the workday, it hits the spot, provides healthy fat and protein, and I can stash bags in my desk or car for other days when I don’t plan so well and need an emergency snack. I also ordered xylitol from NutsOnline.com when I wanted to try it, because their prices are so much lower than at health food stores.
Best of all, they are SO nice, have great customer service, and are a third generation family company.

You got the stuff online! I like that answer, if only because I’m like the laziest shopper in the world. Not to imply that you are lazy.
Anyway… you could put me down for the chickpea flour so I can make your recipes!

Oh I can still enter–just under the wire! There were so many good looking things there–including walnettos–a childhood favorite! But I think I’d choose the dark chocolate covered walnuts. Yumm yumm. and their prices were decent too! I’ve got that company bookmarked now.
