Apartment light is no good. These burgers, however, are very very good. This recipe doesn’t feature an incredibly appealing photo because Coach Georgie was hungry and didn’t wanted to get out the high quality photo lights. I wanted my burger. So I snapped it quick and got right down to business of enjoying my meal! (You understand, right?)
But I’m sure I’ll be making these MANY times so I’ll get a better one sooner or later and swap them. Actually, knowing how tasty these are, I might have an even harder time waiting to sink my teeth into it from now on.
(If you don’t like blue cheese, use a sharp cheddar or skip it altogether, they are tasty burgers without it).1 lb extra lean ground beef ½ cup finely diced onion ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon black pepper ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp dijon mustard 1 egg white 2 ounces blue cheese or cheddar cheese
1. Mix all the ingredients except cheese in a medium bowl and form into 3 or 4 burgers. Grill until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F, adding cheese near the end so it melts on top.
Serves 3 or 4, depending how large you make them
