Pork Loin With Honey Mustard Sauce

This sauce was so good, we’ve nicknamed it Awesome Sauce around here. It’s perfection on pork, but also lovely on chicken or turkey. We enjoy the pork and sauce over sauerkraut, just make to add a colorful vegetable or 2 to spice up it’s appearance.DSC_0036

4 well trimmed pork loin chops, (+salt/pepper)
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons honey
1/8 teaspoon salt
pinch of black pepper
pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

1. Sprinkle pork chops on both sides lightly with salt and pepper. Preheat indoor or outdoor grill (I use my George Foreman, super quick and easy).

2. Combine mustard, water, onion powder, honey, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn off heat and keep warm.

3. Grill pork to 155 degrees internal temperature, and serve with sauce spooned over.
